Emiline Ellis is a private voice and piano instructor who holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Cincinnati Christian University, with a major in voice and a minor in piano. She has taught privately for over 20 years in her home, and at various studios. Other musical experiences include choral participation and conducting, participation in Junior Music Experience as assistant coordinator and judge, classical and jazz performance experience as a vocalist and instrumentalist, as well as various church music experiences. She offers private instruction for all ages, skill levels, and interest levels in both voice and piano. Training is provided in piano and vocal technique, as well as music theory, and music history. Emiline has worked with students with various learning and other disabilities and strives to customize lessons as individually as possible according to student interest, giftedness, and personal (or parental) expectation. Alternate curriculum is used for older beginners, adult students and students of different learning styles. Emiline provides students with performance experience through periodic group studio lessons and annual recitals, and gives exposure to various musical styles including classical, jazz, musical theatre, folk and contemporary.
